As you might have guessed by the title, my post is going to recount the story of how an innocent, sweet, beautiful, amazing girl was almost attacked by a vicious, huge, enormous, ugly snake. It all began on a gorgeous afternoon not too long ago.......
Shannon hummed a little tune as she stepped off the bus that afternoon into the bright, warming sunshine. She shrugged out of her coat-too warm for that!-and glanced up at the clear blue sky. Wonderful October afternoon. Then she heard a horrible, mean hissing sound. Looking down with dread, she spied the very thing she hoped she would never have to see-a HUGE evil snake. The snake was sticking its forked tongue in the air, head scintillating wickedly back and forth. (I shudder even now in my warm, safe house) The girl did whats was only normal, she screamed. She screamed bloody murder. When screeching "MOOOOOOOM" didn't bring the expected results, she whips out her cell and dials her house number. The snake, by this time, was baring its sharp fangs, bringing its head back before the deadly strike. No one answered her call. Just then, she heard an engine start somewhere in the distance. Maybe there was hope. The snake seemed to sense that its life was in danger, and slithered off into the grass. As her mom pulled up in her van, Shannon looked off into the distance, knowing that somewhere the vicious snake lives on.
